Who is on the CAT?

Jordan Curley, Senior Strategist, Kaufman Campaign Consultants

Hailing from San Francisco and now based in Sacramento, Jordan Curley has worked at all levels in campaigns across California, since 2004. Jordan brings her extensive work in political campaigns, policy development and community organizing to her role at Kaufman Campaign Consultants. In her work as a consultant at KCC, Jordan is directly involved with the strategic planning, field operations, community organizing, messaging, media production and external communications for her clients.

Annie Eagan, Strategic Fundraising & Community Development

Annie Eagan is the founder and principal of Annie Eagan Consulting.  Annie is a veteran of politics, strategic fundraising and community development.  Annie is involved in all aspects of her firm's work, including but not limited to: list development; organizational goals; writing a finance plan; major gift prospecting and cultivation; coalition building; fundraising call time; online soliciting, events.  Her past and current clients include State Controller Betty Yee, Senator Bob Wieckowski, Assemblymember Kevin Mullin, Alameda County Superintendent of Schools Karen Monroe, Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 483, Teamsters Joint Council 7, Sierra Club Bay Chapter, Gabrielle Giffords for Congress, Senator Carole Migden, Assemblymember Fiona Ma (partial list).  Annie Eagan is a Board Member of Bay Scholars, a scholarship program tailored to underserved and low-income students, founded by Clint and Janet Reilly.  Prior to her career in fundraising, Annie worked for Senator Dianne Feinstein for four years, two years in her San Francisco office and two years as a member of Senator Feinstein's legislative staff in Washington, D.C.

Amber Maltbie, Attorney at Nossaman LLP

Amber Maltbie is a political attorney with Nossaman, LLP, specializing in campaign finance compliance and disclosure, election administration, and governmental ethics. Amber also specializes in the intersection between U.S. and international election law, gender issues, and women's political participation. She serves as campaign counsel to candidates, PACs, and ballot measures.   Amber has been widely recognized as a leading expert in gender and elections, and her work on women's voting rights in emerging democracies has been cited in United Nations Development Programme reports and published by international NGOs.  In addition to her scholarly work on women's voting rights, Amber has worked with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems in North Mitrovica, Kosovo during Kosovo’s first Parliamentary elections in 2010.

Johanna Silva Waki, Principal Consultant at Hope Road Consulting

Johanna brings many years of experience in developing political strategy, organizing grassroots campaigns, media relations, organizational development and government affairs. She has led many of Hope Road's major projects and is extensively engaged in the development of direct mail, messaging and communications.

Erica Walters, Principal Consultant at Terris, Barnes & Walters

Prior to joining Terris, Barnes & Walters in early 1998, Erica Walters received her political training in the trenches of over 30 campaigns throughout the country. Today, Walters specializes in federal races, independent expenditure/527 campaigns and state legislative caucus work. She is personally involved in every aspect of the firm’s work, from message and strategy formulation to creative development to art direction and even to ensuring that post offices across America move the firm’s work on time, every time.

Jennifer Webber, Principal Consultant at Jennifer Webber Public Affairs

Jennifer Webber is a public affairs, communications, and organizational strategist based in Oakland, California. She works with a broad range of clients including candidates for public office, nonprofits and advocacy groups to help them achieve their government relations, communications and political goals at national, state and local levels.
