Rebecca Mae "Becky" Benton

Class of 2011

During Becky's 20 years as a Solano County resident she was an employee of the Solano County Assessor-Recorder's Office. Prior to that, she ran her own real estate appraisal business and worked as a veterinary technician. Becky volunteered at the Rush Ranch and Access America Program for the Handicapped. Becky was active in local politics, SEIU, and making a difference in her community. She was also the president of the Sassy Sewers Quilting Guild. She loved horses and spending time with her family and pets, reading, and caring for her home and beautiful backyard. Becky was born in Coalinga, Calif. Following a three-month battle with cancer, she went to her eternal rest, at her home in Vacaville, on July 10, 2011.
